About us
We are here to help parents raise happy and healthy children
We all need support through the most important period of our children: the early years
Welcome to The Purple Penguin Crèche. We offer high quality childcare for children aged 6 months up to 10 years of age. We provide a homely, fun, happy, educational, safe, hygienic and stimulating environment so parents can feel at ease when leaving their child in our care. We have an open door policy to all Parents/Guardians who leave their children with us. We strive to get to know not only the child but its family also so we can work in a tight network to give the child the best start in life
Inclusive
We're all about inclusivity. At Purple Penguin, every child is valued, regardless of background or abilities. We celebrate diversity and foster respect and understanding among our young learners.
Responsible
We teach responsibility. At Purple Penguin, children learn to make responsible choices, be accountable, and care for their world. Join us in nurturing responsible young minds and future leaders.
Respectful
We prioritise respect. At Purple Penguin, children learn to respect themselves, others, and the world around them. Join us in nurturing respectful young minds for a harmonious future
Collaborative
We champion collaboration. At Purple Penguin, children learn to work together, share ideas, and embrace teamwork. Join us in nurturing young minds that thrive through collaboration.
Mission
Our mission is to be committed to providing quality childcare to all young persons in a safe and harmonious setting, treating each individual and their primary care with respect and dignity. We strive to build a well-rounded team and where the child is always the main focus at all times.
our aim
Our aim in the Purple Penguin Crèche is to ensure that the children have a happy, safe and stimulating day whilst in our care. We strive to develop the child in all aspects of development in their daily routine.
We recognise that all children are the adults of the future and therefore understand that we can contribute to preparing and guiding them to grow up as happy, well-adjusted adults.
We feel that in order to achieve this, we must aim to work together in harmony, showing patience, kindness and respect to each child and to our fellow team workers.
We aim to cultivate a close relationship with parents/guardians of the children in our care, by ensuring that they feel welcome at all times. We encourage their input in decision-making and keep them informed of their child’s progress on a regular basis.
We all recognise the importance of “thinking and planning ahead” and therefore place great emphasis on gathering ideas, comments and suggestions which are built in to our monthly staff meetings to ensure that the whole team can plan and prepare for the month ahead.
We also recognise the importance of continual in service training for staff and aim to attend courses on a regular basis to enhance our skills and development as people involved in the important role of caring for children.
We strive to create an atmosphere of happiness and harmony and we are committed to providing a safe, caring environment for the children in our care.
More than just a joyful place
